Implementation Assets

Purple WiFi provides their clients with an Indoor Location Services platform and a Guest WiFi captive portal solution. This gallery showcases my contributions to the implementation and launch of their client solutions. I have have been involved in all Real Time Location Service customer Implementations and several WiFi solution customers. The pieces that are showcased in this gallery were projects that I was involved in not only the creation of the assets but in the overall design and visual aesthetics.

Designer’s Commentary: The Implementation assets relied heavily on the study and application of customer branding resources in order to create a customized experiece.

The design process for Real-Time Location Service Implementations usually involve a process where I create a grayscale map first. The grayscale map is then used by the project managers to begin to process of assigning directions, points of interests and wayfinding routes. While the managers work with the clients, I then supply usually 2 to 3 different design options for the client to choose from.. The designs are then open to review by the client and their internal teams where decide on which design works best for the vision.

For process of creating WiFi solutions, my role is to develop a customer’s offline or online WiFi splashpages. A WiFi splash page is a customer facing landing page delivered to visitors who wish to connect to our customer’s guest WiFi.  I am usually given a set of parameters and access to the customer’s websites for inspiration. I like to create a design document first and send the images to the customer service manager for approval. Once approved, I use the Purple’s Portal admin tool to develop the requested splash page using HTML and CSS development.
